Overview
Product designers with strong computer modelling skills are in high demand within industry. This coupled with work placement experience means that BU Computer Aided Product Design graduates are highly employable.
Using the latest technology, Computer Aided Product Design students learn how to design within a virtual environment and develop analytical, visualisation and presentation skills as well as a working knowledge of design principles.
As well as displaying final year projects in the annual Festival of Design & Innovation, students also have the opportunity to commercially exploit their final year projects and turn design dreams into a commercial reality with support from BU Innovations Ltd.
Student Work on Display
Throughout the Festival, designs with the possibility to make a real impact on our everyday quality of life are displayed publicly for the first time. See how the work was presented and get a closer look at last year’s festival.
