BA (Hons) Fashion & Textiles

This exciting top up course encourages students to develop a personal design style. All aspects of the design process are covered from sourcing fabrics, printing and cutting, right through to producing the final garment and catwalk styling.

Overview

BA (Hons) Fashion Textiles Stylish Attitude by Astrid Amalie Juliussen All aspects of the design process are covered from sourcing fabrics, printing and cutting, right through to producing the final garment and catwalk styling. Students put the whole process into practice during their final project, which is the work you will see displayed at the Festival.

BU Fashion & Textiles students have undertaken work experience at a number of big names including Jenny Packham, Betty Jackson, Cath Kidston and Matthew Williamson.

Knowledge of the whole design process as well as a realistic knowledge of the demands and constraints of the fashion and textile industry ensures that BU graduates are well prepared for their future careers in this exciting area.
