Using digital media and computer design visualisation tools BU Industrial Design students are flexible designers able to design anything from a tea pot through to a space rocket. The course focuses on humanistic aspects such as ergonomics, aesthetics and commercial design.

Tents have been at the centre of music festivals for several decades. As these events become more popular, accommodation fit for the 21st century is needed. Luxury has not been a word normally associated with festival accommodation, until now. This VIP cabin evokes a feeling reminiscent of camping under canvas, yet offers the luxury of today’s top hotels.

Bournemouth University has given me the skills to develop my designs using a number of techniques that are transferable in all industries.
